We are growing our farmer network in the Western Mountain and High Plains region of the U.S. Not all of them want to be on a public website, so we are featuring a few of our favorites.

Meet Jody Manuel at Prairie Grass Ranch, a third-generation organic farm just south of Havre, Montana. Family and land go hand-in-hand here — Jody, Crystal, and their six children steward 7,500+ acres of certified organic land in Hill County.
After transitioning the ranch to organic farming, the Manuels embraced regenerative practices focused on soil health, biodiversity, and ecological resilience.
What gluten-free crops they grow:
• Organic Oats (grown for us)
• Alfalfa — nutritious forage and a powerful nitrogen fixing plant, which helps our oats build more protein
…and a wide variety of heritage grains, legumes, and pasture crops that keep their rotations strong.
From regenerative grains to rich alfalfa fields, Prairie Grass Ranch shows how intentional organic farming shapes healthier food systems and landscapes.

Meet David & Jay Romsa — the sixth generation growing food and raising cattle at the Romsa Family Farm, where heritage meets stewardship on the High Plains.
For over a century (est. 1906), the Romsa family has farmed the same land — a legacy so enduring it’s been honored as a Centennial Farm & Ranch. Their fields stretch from Albin, Wyoming across the state line into Nebraska, a testament to multi-generation land stewardship.
Today, they’re farming with purpose and care — having transitioned their historic acreage to organic and growing wholesome grains that nourish people and strengthen regional supply chains.
What gluten free grains they grow:
• Organic Millet
• Organic Oats
We’re proud to share the stories of farmers like David & Jay Romsa — rooted in history, committed to organic, and growing the future of real food.

Beyond the individual farms we’ve featured, we’re proud to partner with dedicated growers across Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota — farmers who steward the land with care and grow high-quality organic grains that strengthen our domestic supply chain.
From the prairie fields of North Dakota to the open landscapes of Montana and the fertile valleys of Idaho, these regions offer:
✨ Ideal climates for small grains
✨ Deep, resilient soils
✨ Thoughtful crop rotations
✨ Multi-generation farming knowledge
✨ A commitment to organic practices
Not every farmer wants to be in the spotlight — but every harvest reflects their integrity, hard work, and long-term stewardship.
To our growers across Idaho, Montana, and North Dakota: thank you for helping us build a more resilient, transparent food system.
