High Protein Snack Hearts: Cranberry Chocolate Chip
Cranberry Chocolate Chip Protein Hearts
We love the convenience of high protein snack balls. That is why we are so grateful for influencer and blogger Kristen Lamonche @cilantroandseafoam, who made these beautiful Cranberry Chocolate Chip Protein Hearts. They are perfect for you and your Valentines any day of the year.
We used to think of protein snacks as on-the-go only for eating outside the house, you know, pre-Covid 19. But after working and studying from home for nearly a year now, we completely embrace their ease and convenience for at-home snacking.
When you or your kids want a mid-day boost, how wonderful is it to say, “we have plenty of those delicious xxx in the kitchen, help yourself.”
Finally, make a double or triple recipe of these and freeze them for later. By splitting the batter into batches, you can try all three versions suggested with the recipe. That way, you’ll have a nice variety of deliciously filling, high protein snacks from which to choose.
Cranberry Chocolate Chip Hearts: How this High Protein Snack is Better
This recipe is full of healthy, immune-boosting nutrients like prebiotic fiber, zinc, and protein. Not to mention, like all our recipes it is gluten-free, refined-sugar-free, and full of clean plant protein and healthy fats. It hits the spot without spiking blood sugar levels, leaving us feeling both satisfied and balanced.
Know that this recipe is forgiving if you keep your dry to wet ingredients ratio the same. So, feel empowered to substitute if you don’t have all these ingredients on hand.
Special Diet Features
These delicious high protein snacks are low glycemic, so great if you are watching your blood sugar. They are also gluten-free, allergy-friendly, and free from sesame, cane/refined sugar, pea and pea protein, and yeast.
