ZEGO Is #3 on EatingWell’s List of the 7 Best Cereals for Heart Health

Last Updated on September 1, 2026 by higherring

ZEGO Double Protein Organic Oatmeal has been named #3 on EatingWell’s list of “7 Best Cereals to Reduce Heart Disease Risk, According to Cardiologists & Dietitians.” It’s a recognition we’re proud of, and one that reflects exactly what we set out to build: food that’s both nourishing and transparent.

How We Earned the Spot

EatingWell’s list features seven cereals selected by registered dietitians and cardiologists for supporting a heart-conscious diet. ZEGO Double Protein Organic Oatmeal landed at #3, recognized for delivering 6 grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein per serving with no added sugar. The article also points to oats as a strong source of soluble fiber, including beta-glucan, which has been studied for its role in heart health.

Why It Matters to Us

Nutrition alone has never been the whole story for us. Alongside every product’s nutritional profile, we publish Purity Verified results: third-party testing for 500+ agricultural chemicals and heavy metals, and gluten-free verification under 5 parts per million, traceable by lot through the QR code on the package. We don’t think people should have to choose between food that supports their health and food they can actually verify.

We’re grateful to EatingWell and registered dietitian Sheri Gaw for the recognition. Of course, no single food defines long-term health on its own — overall eating patterns matter most. But small, informed choices add up, and a genuinely nourishing breakfast is a solid place to start.
