Honey Oat Latte

Supporting our Mental Health is important, especially during a global pandemic. We all need some extra TLC so we are sharing this Honey Oat Latte recreated from Starbucks, but at a fraction of the price.

For this recipe, we collaborated with recipe developer Stephanie Labile @sweetorganicliving.

Signs and symptoms to watch out for:

+ Feeling sad or down.
+ Confused thinking or reduced ability to concentrate.
+ Excessive fears or worries, or extreme feelings of guilt.
+ Extreme mood changes of highs and lows.
+ Withdrawal from friends and activities.
+ Significant tiredness, low energy or problems sleeping.

Check in with friends and family.

Mental health is a state of well-being in which an individual realizes his or her own abilities, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and is able to make a contribution to his or her community.

Honey Oat Latte: The Recipe

Ingredients

¾ cup ZEGO oat milk

½ cup coffee

1 teaspoon honey

Pink Himalayan sea salt

Cinnamon

Method

Heat up oat milk and honey together, this helps soften the honey so it doesn’t sink to the bottom (I use instant coffee so I add the half cup water when I heat on stovetop).

Add coffee and cinnamon and mix.

Top with a sprinkle of pink Himalayan sea salt.
